90° FOV 3D camera from Chiaro Technologies

BOULDER, CO — Chiaro Technologies expands its range of motion capable Cloudburst 3D cameras with a 90° FOV in addition 50°. Cloudburst is factory calibrated making it simple to merge multiple pointclouds from single or multiple cameras, and now, with 90° FOV, it's easier than ever to capture very wide scenes or in tight spaces, such as automobile interiors.

Cloudb

urst 3D cameras stream rocksteady pointclouds or 640 x 480 depthmaps with a depth precision of ±0.75mm at 15 fps (acquisition only up to 30 fps). The cameras are ready to run outofthebox, without arcane parameters or cumbersome calibration. The Jetstream SDK simplifies deployment and allows for software or hardware triggering of one or more cameras. Libraries available for Windows 7 and above with Linux coming soon. The Jetstream SDK includes samples and source code in C/C++

FAULHABER Drive Systems at the Robotics Summit & Expo in Boston from April 30 to May 1 in Hall C at Booth 534

Faulhaber will be presenting their drive systems for robotics and smart technology. Robots are versatile and can be found in many areas, for example, transporting goods, operating on patients or supporting the agriculture industry. With the help of robots, processes can be automated, the flow of materials optimized and employees relieved. Equipped with FAULHABER drive systems, these robots can take on tasks where the demands on function and applications are high.
