Schedule Announced for ATI's 2017 Technology Fair, August 10th in Orion Township, MI

The Technology Fair takes place from 8:00am to 4:00pm with each session presented in their NEW, spacious, air-conditioned presentation area!

ATI Industrial Automation will hold its Annual Technology Fair on August 10, 2017 at its Orion Township, Michigan facility. The one-day educational event will focus on "Applications Advancing Automation," providing attendees the opportunity to learn more about ATIs products and hear from the industry-leading experts that use them every day. The event features educational seminars hosted by ATIs distinguished customers, as well as live robotic demonstrations of ATIs Tool Changers, Multi-Axis Force/Torque Sensors, Robotic Collision Sensors and Robotic Deburring Tools. In addition, ATIs knowledgeable engineers and account managers will be on hand to share their expertise.

8:30am - 9:20am Advancements in Force/Torque Sensors
KUKA Robotics, and ATI discuss new Force/Torque Sensor products and applications that can improve the productivity and safety of your automation applications.

9:30am - 10:20am Changing Automotive Automation
Fori Automation, Troy Design & Manufacturing, and Atlas Copco provide an overview of how they have used ATI Robotic Tool Changers to add flexibility to automotive manufacturing processes from the body shop to general assembly.

10:30am - 11:30am Explore Robotic Material Removal and Finishing
Acme Manufacturing, iA-ROBOTICS, and Methods Machine Tools present a variety of examples of how customers have benefited from the use of ATI's Robotic Deburring and Finishing tools.

Noon - 1:00pm Lunch

1:00pm - 1:50pm Innovative Solutions: Tool Changers and Beyond

2:00pm - 2:50pm RIA Robot Safety Standards Update
The Robotic Industries Association presents an update to the essential information contained in the ANSI/RIA R15.06 Robot Safety Standard.

3:00pm - 4:00pm ATI & AMT Networking Event
Taking place just down the road at AMT, this networking event is a great opportunity to hear from you and discuss what your challenges are with automation and robotics.

This compact 3D camera series combines a very short working distance, a large field of view and a high depth of field - perfect for bin picking applications. With its ability to capture multiple objects over a large area, it can help robots empty containers more efficiently. Now available from IDS Imaging Development Systems. In the color version of the Ensenso B, the stereo system is equipped with two RGB image sensors. This saves additional sensors and reduces installation space and hardware costs. Now, you can also choose your model to be equipped with two 5 MP mono sensors, achieving impressively high spatial precision. With enhanced sharpness and accuracy, you can tackle applications where absolute precision is essential. The great strength of the Ensenso B lies in the very precise detection of objects at close range. It offers a wide field of view and an impressively high depth of field. This means that the area in which an object is in focus is unusually large. At a distance of 30 centimetres between the camera and the object, the Z-accuracy is approx. 0.1 millimetres. The maximum working distance is 2 meters. This 3D camera series complies with protection class IP65/67 and is ideal for use in industrial environments.
