Commercial UAV News Announces Spanish Newsletter: Conexión Hispana UAV

Conexión Hispana UAV is a monthly newsletter focused on information and news about commercial drones in South and Latin America.

Portland, Maine - USA, January 23, 2023 - Organizers of Commercial UAV News have announced the inaugural release of Conexión Hispana UAV, a monthly newsletter in Spanish focused on information and news about commercial drones in South and Latin America. To complement the release, a new report, "7 Things to Know About How Drones are Being Utilized Across Latin and South America," has been publicly launched simultaneously.

"Commercial UAV News is on the cutting edge of UAS innovation, and we recognize a lot of that development is happening in LATAM countries," said Juan Plaza, Staff Editor at Commercial UAV News and CEO of Plaza Aerospace. "We are poised for growth by highlighting and advancing the industry in LATAM through our global audience." Juan Plaza has been working in the UAV industry in Latin America for 10 years.
Commercial UAV News has seen an increase in the number of success stories around companies adopting and launching profitable business models around uncrewed aviation globally. Even though the adoption of commercial drones is happening simultaneously all over the world, Latin America in particular is having a high number of specific cases that demonstrate that making money with uncrewed aviation is not a prospect for the future but a reality today.
For years, Commercial UAV News has covered global UAS stories and featured many Latin American companies and case studies. In 2021, Commercial UAV News released a report answering the question "What Do Drone Investment and Service Opportunities Look Like in Latin and South America?", which was published in English and Spanish and received one of the highest number of downloads in the company's history.
"It was clear that there was an audience seeking more information on UAS investments and opportunities in Latin America. Commercial UAV News recognizes the need to provide this information to a wider audience, hence the introduction of Conexión Hispana," said Jeremiah Karpowicz, Group Editorial Director of Commercial UAV News.

Commercial UAV News produces Commercial UAV Expo which features success stories from around the world. In 2022, attendees came from Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Uruguay, as well as 47 other countries from around the world. The next edition will be September 5-7, 2023, in Las Vegas, NV, USA. Sign up for event alerts here.

The first edition of Conexión Hispana UAV is set to be released on January 25, 2023. Subscribers can expect a new edition on the last Wednesday of each month. Subscribe to the new Conexión Hispana UAV here.

3D Vision: Ensenso B now also available as a mono version!

This compact 3D camera series combines a very short working distance, a large field of view and a high depth of field - perfect for bin picking applications. With its ability to capture multiple objects over a large area, it can help robots empty containers more efficiently. Now available from IDS Imaging Development Systems. In the color version of the Ensenso B, the stereo system is equipped with two RGB image sensors. This saves additional sensors and reduces installation space and hardware costs. Now, you can also choose your model to be equipped with two 5 MP mono sensors, achieving impressively high spatial precision. With enhanced sharpness and accuracy, you can tackle applications where absolute precision is essential. The great strength of the Ensenso B lies in the very precise detection of objects at close range. It offers a wide field of view and an impressively high depth of field. This means that the area in which an object is in focus is unusually large. At a distance of 30 centimetres between the camera and the object, the Z-accuracy is approx. 0.1 millimetres. The maximum working distance is 2 meters. This 3D camera series complies with protection class IP65/67 and is ideal for use in industrial environments.
