MVTec will also present the new version 5.4 of the easy-to-use machine vision software MERLIC at its booth. In addition to various further developments, the new release includes new plug-ins for direct communication with different PLCs. Furthermore, MERLIC comprises the latest machine vision technologies, including numerous deep learning methods. The special feature of MERLIC, however, is that even users who have no programming knowledge can benefit from the advantages offered by machine vision software. This is made possible by a graphical user interface that allows entire machine vision applications to be implemented using drag & drop.
