Our FactorySmart® 3D sensors are used to improve production across the gamut of industrial applications, from factory automation to quality inspection and material/process optimization. Booth #4811
ATX West, MD&M, Plastic West, West Pack and Design & Manufacturing take place in Anaheim, CA February 11th - 13th. This RoboticsTomorrow.com Special Tradeshow report aims to bring you news, articles and products from this years events.
Automation Technology Expo (ATX) West and Design & Manufacturing (D&M) Pacific to Showcase Latest Innovations Highlighting the Future of Factory 4.0
ATX West will primarily feature the latest in automation and robotic technology including robotic accessories, motion control, and automation software,
"Customers continue to shift toward more flexible solutions to support a variety of tasks. ATI's product families are configured to order and designed to increase process flexibility." Booth #4411
Conveyors, although often a last thought, can play a pivotal role in the optimization of a manufacturing facility. A processing line can only go as fast as the slowest piece of equipment. Booth #5014
"Stäubli's vision for the factory of the future is built on interconnected devices that operate collaboratively with humans to improve efficiency and the quality of goods," said Sebastien Schmitt, Robotics Division Mgr of Stäubli NA." Booth #4524
Booth #5095 - In the Factory Harmony exhibit, OMRON pick and place automation demonstrates the potential for machines to manage fine detail work with speed and accuracy.
Booth #5014 - The next generation of AquaGard 7350 Conveyors feature an improved frame design, nose bar transfer options and the industry's safest and most robust curve modular chain.
Booth #4211 - Vendors will want to stop by to see Epson Force Guidance technology, the T6 SCARA Robot Dispense Demonstration, and the LS3 Force Feeder Demonstration.
Booth #4605 - We're very excited to show the ATX audience three new UR cobot-assisted applications developed by our partners
Booth #4139 - DENSO's newest 6 axis robot, Cobotta, we have targeted the marketing of small, delicate parts handling, with the selection of both an industrial mode of operation, as well as, a collaborative mode of operation.
Booth #4481 (co-exhibiting with Futura Automation) - Gecko Gripper, that uses millions of micro-scaled fibrillar stalks that adhere to a surface using powerful van der Waals forces - the same way that geckos climb.
Booth #4311 - The single-arm YuMi provides manufacturers of all sizes added flexibility and scalability to meet the challenges of high-mix, low-volume production in shorter cycles.
Booth #4411 - We are showcasing our newest Manual Tool Changer, Force/Torque Sensor, and Universal Compliance Compensator models in a live robotic demonstration! These solutions are ideal for use in collaborative robot applications.
Booth #4220 - We will be showing our HRC-03 grippers for collaborative robotic applications, also our new aluminum guided variant of our very successful 5000 series grippers.

The industry's first comprehensive Robot Integrator Program saves robot integrators significant time and cost investments by allowing them to mark each cell compliant with ANSI/RIA R15.06 with the TUV Rheinland Mark. As opposed to a traditional certification or an on-site field labeling, TÜV Rheinland's Robot Integrator Program certifies the knowledge and skill-set of robot integrators in addition to testing robotic cells and processes against ANSI/RIA R15.06. This reduces the need for frequent onsite or off site testing and allows manufacturers to apply a single TÜV Rheinland label to multiple cells. The Robot Integrator Program individually assesses a robot integrator's understanding of the ANSI/RIA R15.06 standard along with the ability to consistently produce compliant robot cells. Following the requirements and procedures of the new program will enable robot integrators to produce individually compliant robotic cells under one serialized TÜV Rheinland Mark, which meets the national electric code and allows acceptance by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and end users.
